so because i did a different post yesterday

today i am going to talk about the celebrations of yesterday.

may 5 2010.

it was my niece, ophelia's 1st birthday.

she is seriously the cutest little gal in town.
so happy and easy going

although she does have her "dramatic" moments
and has a great personality.

since this week or month has been so busy
(due to the wedding and family moving)

it was hard to have an actual "celebration" for her.
i guess she is only 1, and wont really remember.

but, my mother did get her a present.

and yes, i guess ophelia's birthday was just a good excuse to get an ice-cream maker for the fam.
but overall ophelia's birthday was a success.
she loved it as much as her little heart could handle.

now for the second part of may 5th.
my cousin kenzie
who makes the cutest headbands ever which you should go look at right now by clicking on her name.
got her mission call!
such a happy and exhilarating event.
she was called to serve in the Guatemala Retalhuleu mission.
speaking spanish.
i envy her.
i think that spanish is one of the most useful languages to know.
she is going to be an amazing missionary!
