nothing is better than..

being at the pool.

laying out.

no worries at all.

with all the time in the world.

land and i took my niece ophelia swimming.

last summer she was only 3 months old when we took her swimming.

this year she is 15 months old and has recently acquired a big personality.

she loved the pool.

to her its just like a big bath tub.

splashing, kicking and not to mention drowning.

just kidding.

not really drowning.

but she did go under the water a few times but never cried once.

what a champ.

she was all smiles.

now, me not being an experienced mother showed through.

i didnt put a swim diaper on her.

and this is what happened.

this picture seriously does not do it justice.

i'm sure her diaper weighed a good 5 pounds.

her bum was huge.

bigger than j-lo's for sure.

its memories like these that make my life complete.
